Staff & Elders

Andrew Melo

Lead Pastor

Andrew became our Lead Pastor in October of 2018. It was toward the end of a diploma in Sports and Recreation Administration that he began wrestling with a call to vocational ministry. Andrew has since completed a Bachelor of Theology degree at Heritage College & Seminary and is  wrapping up his Master of Theology. He is passionate about preaching, shepherding and developing leaders.  Andrew’s favourite thing to do is spend time with his wife, Erin, and their daughters,  Peyton  and Tori. The girls help him to laugh often and remember that God is good.

Nate Wiens

Pastor of Family Ministries

Nate started at Calvary in June 2021 after interning at Starkey Road Baptist Church in Florida and completing his Master of Divinity degree at Baptist Bible Seminary in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania. Originally from a small town near Calgary, Alberta he is enjoying being back in the province of Ontario where he served as a summer missionary with Child Evangelism Fellowship in high school. He is excited to train, equip, and serve alongside the people at Calvary as they live out the mission of loving God and others and seeing lives changed for God's glory.

Bud Penner

Pastor of Senior Care & Elder

Bud has spent most of his adult life as a Pastor and leader in Christ's Church.  He joined the staff at Calvary in 2011 to develop small groups for discipleship and fellowship and has served in several different pastoral roles since then. Bud and his wife Beulah love to travel and engage in other cultures, which has taken them to many countries and people groups.

Anna is currently a fourth year student at Brock University, completing a Bachelor of Music degree. Bill Marr

Elder
Bill enjoys reading, baking, working in the garden and on cars when he has free time.  He thanks God for the blessing of marriage to his beautiful wife Amy Leyenhorst for over 15 years. Bill's prayer is for Calvary to be a safe place where people can be vulnerable, seek and find true change in their lives with Christ.

Mike Crinson

Elder
I have been blessed as a husband, father, son, brother and friend. Most of all I have been blessed to know Jesus, and I want others to really know about him so they can decide to have the blessing that is Jesus in their life.

Thomas Tulloch

Elder
Tom grew up attending Calvary Gospel Church.  He and his wife Char have been married since 2011. Tom loves tea and perfectly ripe avocados.  He also enjoys cooking; the more obscure the recipe the better.   He is excited to raise his children in a vibrant church community devoted to living for Jesus.
